Senior Electrical Site Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site electrical activities, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, codes, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role involves leading the electrical team, solving technical issues, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power, lighting, low current, and other related systems.

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, technical submittals, and project specifications.

• Ensure all electrical work is executed according to approved shop drawings and project schedule.

• Lead the electrical team including junior engineers, supervisors, and technicians on site.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) and external stakeholders.

• Monitor site progress, report delays or issues, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

• Participate in technical meetings and site coordination sessions.

• Oversee material delivery and verify compliance with project requirements.

• Ensure documentation of inspections, test results, and project records.

• Provide technical guidance and support during the commissioning phase.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in electrical site supervision.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and construction methods.

• Familiarity with international codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and local regulations.

• Proficient in reading and reviewing electrical drawings.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
