Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to support engineering operations within a large-scale luxury hospitality and integrated resort environment in Ras Al Khaimah.
The role involves installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across multiple operational zones. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, reliable, and energy-efficient functioning of electrical infrastructure within a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair LV panels, MCC, SMDBs, DBs, lighting fixtures, power sockets, isolators, and control devices.
- Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and maintain accurate documentation.
- Respond to breakdowns and complaints, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, riser diagrams, and schematics.
- Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and civil teams for multidisciplinary maintenance tasks.
- Manage stock levels of critical spare parts and support inventory audits.
- Follow permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and UAE electrical regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical certification in Electrical Systems.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of LV distribution systems and electrical safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical regulations and international standards (NFPA / IEC) preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit to perform site-based maintenance tasks in varied conditions.
