Key Accountabilities:
- Checks, inspects all the electrical parts/equipment in the whole plant. Reports all abnormalities observed, notification generation against abnormalities.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Reporting of any abnormality noticed in the equipment while executing the preventive maintenance work order.
- Notification generation against the abnormality observed in the equipment's.
- Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles.
- Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmental friendly methods.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the paper or tissue manufacturing industry.
- Fair proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
