Job Purpose
The Senior Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and HVAC equipment in ADA Head Office & ADA Hangar.
Due to the high amount of risk, Senior Electrician must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions.
A 3-month shadowing and handover period with the current incumbent is planned to ensure a seamless transition.
Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineer
- Minimum 7-10 years proven experience in electrical work, with a focus on industrial, commercial, or aviation settings
- A valid electrical trade certification or license
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices, with certifications such as OSHA or equivalent
- Microsoft Office Proficient
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail to ensure safety and quality standards are met
Desirable
- Certifications in specific areas, such as low-voltage systems, control systems, or electrical contracting
- Experience in supervising or leading electrical teams
