Android System Integration Engineer (Automotive)

Intellias invites you to join our automotive team and help shape the future of driving. You will work on a premium next-generation cockpit solution for a leading OEM, integrating Android-based applications and middleware onto a new hardware platform.

Your role will focus on system integration, stability, and bridging vendor platforms with OEM applications (IVI & connectivity) in a complex automotive environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android system integration (middleware/framework)
• Strong understanding of Android framework (Java/Kotlin services) and app–OS interaction
• Experience integrating proprietary applications into platforms
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture and design patterns
• Experience with TDD/BDD
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with Git and CI/CD

Bonus Skills

• Android performance profiling and optimization
• Custom views and UI components development
• Dependency injection frameworks

Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural and technical design discussions
• Integrate proprietary apps and middleware into Android platform
• Ensure modular, reusable, and testable system design
• Handle bug triage and production issue resolution
• Develop features for upcoming releases
• Maintain high code quality through reviews and standards compliance
