We're hiring a Senior End User & Strategic Customer Field Sales Engineer too drive growth with strategic accounts and end users. You'll orchestrate complex sales cycles, build C-level relationships, and deliver solutions that transform how customers achieve their efficiency and sustainability goals.

What will you do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, customer plans and managing a healthy sales pipeline for the Water & Environment segment, identifying growth opportunities across key accounts, assessing market trends, and translating market intelligence into actionable sales strategies to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through solution development, commercial negotiation, order closing, and handover, ensuring a strong customer experience and sustainable business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer's Decision-Making Unit (DMU), with full access and engagement across key stakeholders including technical, commercial, operational, procurement, and executive levels, to understand customer priorities and influence the decision-making process.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with technical, tendering, marketing, services, and other internal teams to develop winning technical and commercial propositions and ensure successful opportunity execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to customers, strengthening Schneider Electric's position in the Water & Environment market and identifying opportunities for account development, cross-selling, and long-term partnership.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key partners and ecosystem stakeholders, leveraging their market presence, capabilities, and customer access to expand Schneider Electric's reach and accelerate business growth.

What are the key skills we are looking for

  • Strategic Account Management – Strong ability to develop and execute account strategies, build long-term customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and manage complex stakeholders across the customer organization.
  • Advanced Negotiation & Commercial Acumen – Excellent negotiation skills with the confidence and ability to lead complex commercial discussions, influence outcomes, protect value and profitability, and close business effectively.
  • Stakeholder Influence & Relationship Building – Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key decision-makers, partners, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across the Water & Environment ecosystem.
  • Executive Presentation & Communication – Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently articulate value propositions, lead high-level customer discussions, and communicate effectively with C-level audiences.
  • Strong Ownership & Accountability – Takes full ownership of opportunities and customer engagements from strategy to closure, proactively driving actions, mobilizing the right stakeholders, overcoming challenges, and remaining accountable for delivering results.
  • Digital mindset and adaptability, with the ability to leverage digital tools and Schneider Electric solutions to create differentiated customer propositions.

What qualifications will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of experience in sales, account management.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively within Egypt and, when required, regionally based on business and customer needs.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles, with proven exposure to multiple customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience in the Water & Environment sector is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with partners, contractors, consultants, and other ecosystem stakeholders is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully closing complex opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes, pricing, negotiation, and contract discussions.
  • Ability to understand and position technical solutions in a business-value context; experience with automation, digitalization, electrical, or energy management solutions is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior and executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
