Senior Engineer, Construction (Telecom)

Penspen is hiring experienced Senior Engineer, Construction (Telecom) Site based in Abu Dhabi with extensive oil & gas experience to oversee telecommunications works for oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction work packages.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and other disciplines.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Manage inspections, system integration, completion, and handover activities.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline is mandatory
• 15+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector
• 5 years in GCC region
• 5 years of experience in similar position
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline
• Strong knowledge of fiber-optic networks, CCTV, access control, PAGA, radio, telephone, and data systems.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments
• In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards
• Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
