Raya Smart Buildings; one of Raya's subsidiaries is hiring a Senior Engineer (Electric Maintenance).
What will you do
- Oversee MEP Systems: Manage the overall health and functionality of at least one if the mall's Mechanical (HVAC)or Electrical or Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Develop & Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all MEP equipment, ensuring timely inspections and servicing.
- Lead Maintenance Team: Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, delegating tasks and ensuring quality work.
- Control spare parts and supplies inventory, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Respond to Emergencies: Diagnose and troubleshoot MEP system malfunctions, prioritizing urgent repairs to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Assist in stakeholders management: Communicate effectively with mall management, tenants, and contractors regarding maintenance issues and project plans.

What will you need
- 35 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university
- MEP certifications are a plus
Interpersonal Skills:
- Communication: Being able to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical staff & technicians
- Leadership: Motivate and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Customer Service: Maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor when interacting with mall staff and tenants when needed
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other teams, and potentially external contractors to diagnose and resolve problems
- Problem-Solving: Using analytical skills to identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions and develop solutions that minimize downtime and disruption.
- Conflict Resolution: Effectively resolve disputes between tenants and maintenance staff regarding repairs and service requests
Technical Skills:
- Possess in-depth understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems specific to large commercial facilities Preventive Maintenance: Develop comprehensive plans for preventive maintenance of all MEP equipment, optimizing performance and minimizing breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of MEP system malfunctions, ensuring efficient solutions within safety protocols. Proficient in operating and troubleshooting BMS used to monitor and control MEP systems
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee MEP-related maintenance projects, managing budgets and ensuring timely completion.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising technicians.
