Plan, supervise and ensure effective electrical maintenance activities for the operations facilities and distributionnetwork at the Plant to ensure technical and operational safety, integrity and reliability of the assets and tominimize downtime of the facilities
Key Accountabilities
u00B7 Plan and carry out Predictive / Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for conditionmonitoring of Electrical equipment to ensure improved machine availability and power system reliability.
u00B7 Conduct Internal Safety audit of the installations in the plant with regards to Electrical equipment anddevelop action plan for area maintenance engineers to take up corrective measures.
u00B7 Participate in the preparation of predictive, preventive, modification and major shutdown maintenanceprograms for electrical equipment in the plant. Review the periodic & shutdown work plans andintegrate activities with other sections for their execution.
u00B7 Participate and provide professional expertise in the technological up-gradation of obsolete equipmentand preparation & execution of Plant Change Requests for modification in existing facilities.
u00B7 Carry out detailed engineering prepare scope of work, technical evaluation and execution for Capital,Extra Ordinary Maintenance and Major Maintenance activities.
u00B7 Review the existing maintenance practices and support implementation of innovative & modernmethodologies for enhanced productivity leading to improvement in equipment performance andreliability. Ensure optimum utilization of the maintenance system for maintaining job history and dataquality so as to retrieve quality information.
u00B7 Supervise High Voltage switching activities in line with set policies and procedures to ensure safeoperations.
u00B7 Prepare method statements for critical jobs, verify electrical procedures and instructions, plus scope ofwork for contract jobs and service work orders to meet work requirements and standards.
u00B7 Participate in technical evaluation of bids and inspection of materials on receipt to ensure specificationsand required quality
u00B7 Provide technical support for development, implementation and commissioning of new projects in theelectrical design and specifications to optimize costs and ensure compliance with applicable standardsand best practices.
u00B7 Ensure that operation methods and procedures are maintained by which prime consideration is givento the safety, reliability, stability and security of the system.
u00B7 Develop and maintains codes of practice and ensure that the standards contained in such codes arethoroughly understood and consistently complied with.
u00B7 Assist in the development of a comprehensive Maintenance Management System for all power systeminterconnection equipment, including generators, power transformers, high voltage switch-gear highvoltage distribution systems and Load dispatch center equipment.
Minimum Requirements
u00B7 Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
u00B7 At least 8 years of experience in installation, maintenance, trouble shooting and operation in an oil/gas orpetrochemical industry and/or power generation plants
