Senior Engineer – Equipment Preservation
We are seeking an experienced Senior Preservation Engineer to lead and manage preservation activities for static and rotary equipment across project and site phases. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment integrity from receipt through installation and commissioning, in compliance with project specifications, OEM recommendations, and international standards.

YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Engineer (Equipment Preservation) you will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain equipment preservation plans for static and rotary equipment.
- Ensure proper long-term and short-term preservation during storage, installation, and lay-up periods.
- Oversee preservation of equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and packages.
- Coordinate material control activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, and tracking of preservation status.
- Supervise correct equipment handling, lifting, storage, and transportation to prevent damage.
- Conduct regular preservation inspections and audits; issue reports and corrective actions as required.
- Interface with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams.
- Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Support pre-commissioning and handover activities from a preservation perspective.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in equipment preservation within large industrial or EPC projects
- Proven experience in Static and rotary equipment preservation
- Proven experience Material control and warehouse management
- Experience in Equipment handling and site logistics
Education / Training / Certifications
- Graduate / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Skills/Competencies
- Strong expertise in preservation methods
- Solid understanding of construction and commissioning interfaces
- Familiarity with international standards and best practices
- Strong documentation, coordination, and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment
