We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer Project Management - Power. In this key role, you lead and manage power related projects execution including power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. This involves all aspects of project execution, from planning to completion, ensuring the projects are delivered on time, as per scope, within budget, and to the required quality standards and aligned with EtihadWE's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of power projects, including power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
- Develop and manage projects plan, including scope, objectives, schedules and resource allocation.
- Monitor and control project performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide updates on project status, challenges and accomplishments.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and vendors, to align project goals and expectations.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry standards and health, safety, & environment requirements.
- Manage implementation and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet specified quality standards.
- Review and approve regular project status reports, including progress updates, financial performance, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, reports and correspondence.
- Monitor risk factors throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary to address emerging issues.
- Evaluate project performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
- Master's Degree or Professional Engineering License is preferred.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Proficiency in project management tools & software (MS Projects, Primavera, AutoCAD).
- In-depth knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
