Job Description
Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer shall be responsible for renewing the Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for all elevators and escalators within the assigned territory. This includes:
- Engaging with existing clients prior to contract expiry
- Preparing renewal proposals and negotiating terms
- Ensuring timely closure of renewal agreements
- Acquisition of Third‑Party Elevators & Escalators
The Sales Engineer must actively pursue and secure maintenance contracts for non‑AG Elevator (third‑party) equipment, including:
- Elevators
- Escalators
- Moving walks
This involves market research, site surveys, technical evaluation, and proposal submission.
The Sales Engineer shall participate in all tenders related to:
- AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts)
- Repair works
- Modernization (partial or full upgrades)
Responsibilities include document preparation, compliance review, pricing, and coordination with internal departments.
The Sales Engineer Is Accountable For Ensuring Timely Collection Of Payments For All Orders Booked, Strictly Following The Agreed Payment Terms. This Includes
- Coordinating with clients for invoice acknowledgment
- Following up on due and overdue payments
- Supporting the finance team in resolving payment issues
- Technical Coordination
The Sales Engineer must work closely with the technical and service teams to ensure smooth operations, including:
- Sharing customer requirements and site conditions
- Coordinating site visits, surveys, and technical assessments
- Supporting the team in resolving service‑related issues
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and service continuity
- Customer Relationship Management
The Sales Engineer shall maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to support business growth and retention.
