We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Civil/Arch. Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing and evaluating Variation Orders across architectural, civil, and landscape scopes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, evaluate, and submit Variation Orders (VOs) in accordance with contract terms.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimation for architectural, structural, and landscape works.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and client representatives to validate and justify submitted variations.
- Ensure pricing accuracy using market rates, historical data, and contract BOQs.
- Confirm whether site requests qualify as valid variations or fall within the original contract scope.
- Coordinate and follow up on variation approvals with the client or consultant as per contractual procedures.
- Establish ceiling costs for variation-related subcontractor requests to ensure the supply chain team has clear budget limits for procurement.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in Pricing with a focus on variation orders and small packages.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, and contract administration.
- Excellent command of Excel and QS software
- Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract conditions is a plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
