China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is hiring a Senior Estimator with minimum of 10 to 12 years of experiences in UAE infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
- Analyze the scope from tender documents, drawings, and specifications to advise the adequacy of the documents and project in line with company's business interest.
- Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive prices for materials and services.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Engineering, Contracts, Legal, and Planning, to understand their perspectives and incorporate their critical points into the tender submission.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure projects comprising of Bridges, Roads,
- Wet/Dry Utilities based on tender requirements, drawings, specifications, and historical data.
- Identify and analyze potential risks that may impact tender costs and identify strategies to mitigate these risks during tender.
- Work closely with other members of the tender team to ensure accurate and timely cost/tender submission.
- Handing over the tender documents, assumptions, pricing, facilitating contract signing if awarded.
- Advising site team in project budget preparation. Track usage of resources (Labor, Plant, Materials etc.) and advise the management of adequacy/ inadequacy, inefficiency and improvement methods.
- Witness the site construction, record the activity and come out the internal productivity of the construction items for the future tendering and cost controlling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Engineering (Civil)
- Experience estimating projects or relevant engineering experience.
- Good in Cost Estimation and Cost Control
- Excellent in Microsoft Office, Basic in AutoCAD
