Job Title: Senior Estimator (Interior Fit-Out)

Executive Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator / QS with 6 to 8 years of specialized experience in the UAE interior fit-out industry. This role is designed for a commercial expert who can manage large-scale tenders, lead value engineering initiatives, and ensure the financial viability of complex MEP and fit-out projects from inception to contract award.
Senior-Level Responsibilities
- Strategic Tendering: Manage the end-to-end bidding process for high-value projects (Commercial, Luxury Retail, and Hospitality).
- Advanced MEP Quantification: Oversee the intricate quantification of MEP services, ensuring zero gaps between MEP requirements and interior finishes.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations with premium suppliers and specialized subcontractors to secure best-in-market pricing.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Perform deep-dive analysis of tender conditions to identify financial risks and commercial opportunities (Value Engineering).
- Budget Accountability: Create highly accurate Cost-to-Complete forecasts and initial project budgets to guide the operations team.
- Contractual Review: Assist in reviewing contract terms to ensure the company's commercial interests are protected before signing.
Professional Requirements
- Experience:6 8 years of solid experience in Estimating/QS within the UAE Fit-Out market (Mandatory).
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of high-end finishes, bespoke joinery, and complex MEP systems.
- Software Mastery: Expert in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and professional takeoff software (e.g., PlanSwift or CostX).
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (RICS membership is a significant advantage).
- Attributes: Strong leadership qualities, exceptional numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple high-pressure deadlines simultaneously.
