Database Design: Architect and implement relational database models, schemas, and tables using industry best practices for normalization and performance
Advanced Development: Write complex stored procedures, triggers, views, and user-defined functions to support application logic
Performance Tuning: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through index optimization, query refactoring, and execution plan analysis
ETL & Integration: Design and maintain robust Data Integration/ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to consolidate data from disparate sources
Data Security: Implement and manage security protocols, including encryption, data masking, and granular access controls, to protect sensitive information
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and optimize complex reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) or Power BI to provide actionable business insights
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in ETL development, with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle and SQL Server; ability to write complex queries and stored procedures
Hands-on experience with data integration tools other than Informatica is a plus (e.g., Microsoft SSIS)
Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services related to ETL processes is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality results
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
