We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica and other ETL tools. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale data integration projects, optimizing workflows, and ensuring data quality across diverse platforms. This role requires advanced SQL proficiency, hands-on experience with cloud-based ETL solutions, and the ability to work with high-volume datasets in complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, Cloud) and other tools (SSIS).
- Manage and optimize database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.
- Write and tune advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
- Perform data integration, migration, and transformation across multiple systems.
- Implement data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance techniques.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows and SQL queries.
- Handle large datasets and high-volume batch processing.
- Configure and manage scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, cron).
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, or JavaScript.
- Integrate data via APIs (REST and SOAP).
- Maintain metadata management and data lineage documentation.
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for ETL jobs.
- Collaborate using version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Work with cloud-based ETL platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL tools and database system
- Strong background in database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.)
- Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, joins, optimization, stored procedures, triggers, view
- Experience in data integration, migration, and transformation
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows and SQL queries
- Ability to work with large datasets and high-volume data processing
- Understanding of batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, cron)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, or JavaScript)
- Knowledge of API integration (REST and SOAP)
- Understanding of metadata management and data lineage
- Experience in error handling, logging, and monitoring ETL jobs
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
- Exposure to cloud-based ETL and data platforms (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory)
