The Senior Events Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business development, client relationships, and event execution at the highest level. This role is suited for an individual with a strong network in the industry, capable of securing new business opportunities while leading the end-to-end execution of high-profile events.
As a Senior Events Manager, you will develop and implement innovative event concepts, ensuring that each project aligns with Maison Pyramide's standards and enhances client brand positioning. You will be hands-on with both strategy and execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key industry players, including brands, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, ensuring steady growth of the events division.
- Develop and present compelling event pitches and proposals to potential and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to enhance event offerings.
- Lead concept development for events, ensuring creativity, innovation, and alignment with client expectations.
- Oversee all event logistics, including vendor negotiations, venue selection, guest management, and on-ground operations.
- Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective execution without compromising quality.
- Work closely with Marketing, PR, and Social Media teams to create high-impact event activations and content strategies.
- Ensure safety, security, and compliance with local regulations for all events.
- Supervise on-site event execution, managing teams and ensuring flawless delivery.
- Track and analyze event success, compiling post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
- Build and lead a high-performing events team, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Establish best practices and processes to streamline event execution.
- Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, agencies, and talent to enhance event capabilities.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in event management, preferably within the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
- Established network of trusted suppliers and vendors in Egypt, including venues, production teams, caterers, and gifting suppliers.
- Strong understanding of event services, spatial planning, and décor production.
- Experience in business development and client acquisition.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and event management software
