This role combines membership management with event planning, recognising that every event is an opportunity to build stronger relationships, encourage professional networking and create value for our members.

Working within SHRI's Communications, Events & Membership (CEM) team, you will help shape the member experience, coordinate engagement initiatives and deliver programmes that bring Singapore's HR community together. WHAT YOU WILL DO

This includes:

  • Maintaining accurate membership data and preparing reports and insights to support decision-making.
  • Working closely with the Marketing &Communications team to develop membership campaigns, EDMs and engagement initiatives.
  • Continuously reviewing membership processes and recommending improvements to enhance the member experience.

2. Events Planning & Delivery

You will be part of the part planning and delivering events that create value for members, strengthen professional networks and support SHRI's strategic objectives.

This includes:

  • Planning and coordinating networking sessions, seminars, workshops, conferences and signature SHRI events.
  • Managing event logistics, including venues, speakers, vendors, sponsors, registrations and onsite operations.
  • Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver engaging and professionally executed events.
  • Monitoring event outcomes and participant feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Using technology and AI tools where appropriate to improve planning, coordination and participant experience.
  • Ensuring every event serves as a meaningful platform for member engagement, professional learning and community building.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Strong candidates typically bring:

  • Community mindset: enjoys building relationships and creating meaningful experiences for members and stakeholders.
  • Execution discipline: able to manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex activities and deliver consistently with minimal supervision.
  • Project management skills: capable of planning events from concept through execution while managing timelines, budgets and stakeholders.
  • Service orientation: responsive, professional and committed to delivering an excellent member experience.
  • Digital confidence: comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft 365 and AI tools to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Good judgement: able to prioritise, solve problems independently and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in professional associations, membership organisations, training providers or event management is advantageous, but not essential.
