Summary
The Senior Expert – Technology Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Development plays a pivotal role in supporting a significant digital transformation initiative within the government sector. The main objective of this role is to define comprehensive technology strategies and develop enterprise architecture frameworks that align with organizational goals and enhance digital transformation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and target-state architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Define technology strategies that support digital transformation and modernization initiatives across the organization.
- Assess current technology landscapes and recommend future-state architecture, platforms, and capabilities.
- Develop enterprise architecture principles, standards, governance models, and technology policies.
- Lead architecture assessments, capability mapping, and technology maturity evaluations.
- Ensure alignment between business strategy, enterprise architecture, and technology investments.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define strategic technology initiatives and implementation roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve organizational performance.
- Support IT governance, solution architecture reviews, and technology decision-making processes.
- Prepare executive-level reports, architecture documentation, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops and engage with senior stakeholders to drive consensus on technology strategy and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Ensure enterprise architecture practices align with industry frameworks and government standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 9 years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or digital transformation.
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture and technology strategy within the government or public sector.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent.
- Experience in IT strategy development, technology roadmaps, and digital transformation.
Nice to Have:
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Enterprise Architecture, or Business Administration.
- Previous experience with a leading consulting firm (Big Four or equivalent).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and application architecture.
- Preferred certifications like TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, PMP, or Agile.
- Experience supporting Vision 2030 or similar public sector transformation programs.
