Job Description

Are you experienced in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of building systems and infrastructurewhile keeping facilities safe, functional, and fully compliant

Do you bring hands-on technical expertise in preventive maintenance, project coordination, vendor supervision, and sustainable facility operations

Are you skilled in minimizing downtime and optimizing energy and operational efficiency across multiple facilities If yes, then you are the one we are looking for.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Facility Operations & Maintenance:

  • Oversee the day-to-day technical operations of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and HVAC systems within the property or facility.
  • Conduct routine inspections of building infrastructure, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Monitor and manage building automation systems (BMS) for efficient energy use and system control.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all critical equipment and utilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, breakdowns, or operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain logs and maintenance records for audits and performance evaluation.

3. Project & Renovation Support:

  • Assist in planning and execution of facility renovation, retrofit, or upgrade projects.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely project execution and adherence to safety and quality standards.

4. Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all facility systems comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
  • Conduct training or awareness sessions for staff on equipment handling and emergency procedures when required.

5. Vendor & Contractor Management:

  • Supervise outsourced service providers (e.g., maintenance contractors, cleaners, elevator technicians, pest control, landscaping, etc.).
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure contract compliance.
  • Evaluate quotations, recommend vendors, and assist in procurement of technical services or materials.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly facility status reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
  • Maintain as-built drawings, equipment manuals, compliance certifications, and inspection checklists.
  • Recommend improvements in systems, processes, or technologies for better operational control.
  • This is not an exhaustive list and task, and responsibilities may be added from time to time as per the needs of the organization.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Engineering. (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil
  • Minimum overall 10 years experience in UAE
  • At least 3 years as a Facilities Manager.
  • Handled Residential/ Commercial properties.
  • Fluent in Arabic .
  • Should have Has dealt with Arabic nationals/ stakeholders.
  • Certified Facilities Manager
  • Other certifications related to Facilities Management would be plus.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment

Job location: Dubai

Salary Budget: AED 35,000/Monthly

Type of Employment: Full time/ Permanent
