Senior Fashion Designer - Western Womenswear

Job description:

A Fashion Designer is responsible for creating new fashion designs and overseeing the entire design process, from concept development to production. They are knowledgeable about current fashion trends, materials, and techniques. The Fashion Designer also collaborates with other professionals in the industry, such as pattern makers and manufacturers, to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Create new fashion designs based on market trends and customer preferences
• Specializes in Western Dresses
• Develop sketches, drawings, and prototypes.
• Create Tech packs
• Collaborate with patternmakers to create patterns for garment production.
• Select fabrics, trims, and colors for each design.
• Ensure that designs meet quality standards and production deadlines.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to oversee the production process.
• Attend fashion shows and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends.
• Conduct market research to identify new fashion trends and opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a fashion designer in women's wear
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends and techniques.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail.

Pay: 7,000.00 (AED) - 11,000.00 (AED) per month
