Skilled Careers is working with an internationally recognised architecture and interior design consultancy for a Senior FF&E Designer in Dubai, UAE, working across a portfolio of exceptional luxury hospitality and high-end residential developments.
The Role:
As a Senior FF&E Designer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering FF&E packages from initial concept through to technical design, procurement and on-site implementation.
You will work closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, suppliers and project teams to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the delivery process, with a strong focus on quality, detail and luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead FF&E design across luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects.
- Develop FF&E concepts, schemes, specifications and detailed design packages.
- Take projects through the full design process, from concept and design development through to technical stages and site delivery.
- Prepare and review FF&E schedules, specifications, presentations and technical documentation.
- Coordinate closely with interior design, architecture, procurement and project delivery teams.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to develop bespoke FF&E solutions.
- Review samples, shop drawings and technical submissions.
- Support the procurement and installation process, ensuring quality and design intent are maintained.
- Attend site where required to oversee FF&E installation and resolve design-related issues.
- Mentor and support junior designers within the team.
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or similar qualification
- 10+ years of professional FF&E design experience.
- A proven track record across luxury hospitality and/or high-end residential developments.
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design development through to technical design and site delivery.
- Strong knowledge of FF&E materials, finishes, suppliers, manufacturing and installation.
- Excellent understanding of luxury detailing and design standards.
- Strong technical and documentation skills.
- The ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end FF&E projects.
Dubai experience is advantageous, but international experience (Europe, US, Canada, Aus etc) and a strong luxury project portfolio are essential.
