Our client, a high-growth technology company, is seeking a commercially driven Senior Finance Director to lead its finance function through its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will partner with the Board and shareholders to shape corporate strategy, drive financial performance, secure capital, execute strategic acquisitions, and prepare the business for a future IPO.
This is a leadership role for a finance executive with deep experience in corporate finance, capital markets, fundraising, and M&A within a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Act as the CEO's strategic finance partner, influencing business strategy and long-term value creation.
- Lead corporate financial strategy, capital allocation, and business planning.
- Provide financial insight to support growth, expansion, and investment decisions.
Capital Raising & Investor Relations
- Lead equity and debt fundraising initiatives with institutional investors, private equity, venture capital, and financial institutions.
- Develop investment materials, financial models, and business cases for investors and lenders.
- Manage relationships with shareholders, investors, banks, and external advisors.
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Lead the evaluation, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop financial models and transaction structures.
- Oversee post-acquisition integration and synergy realization.
IPO Readiness
- Lead the company's IPO readiness strategy, ensuring finance, governance, reporting, and internal controls meet public market standards.
- Coordinate with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulators throughout the listing process.
- Support all financial aspects of a successful public offering.
Financial Leadership
- Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow, financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Optimize liquidity, working capital, and financial performance.
Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing finance organization.
- Drive finance transformation, automation, and process improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA and/or CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Proven experience as Finance Director, Senior Finance Director, VP Finance, or CFO within a technology, SaaS, fintech, software, or digital business.
- Mandatory experience in Saudi Arabia with strong knowledge of local regulatory, tax, and business environments.
- Demonstrated success leading capital raising, debt financing, and investor engagement.
- Proven track record executing M&A transactions from origination through integration.
- Hands-on experience preparing a business for an IPO or supporting a public listing.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, financial modelling, valuation, treasury, and capital markets.
- Native Arabic speaker with fluent English.
