Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst Specialist is responsible for providing advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning support to drive informed business decisions. The role involves developing financial models, analyzing financial performance, preparing management reports, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. The position works closely with business leaders to support financial planning, investment decisions, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate business performance, profitability, and cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, business cases, and investment analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Support business units in preparing financial plans, budgets, and investment proposals.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and other departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Support strategic initiatives, business expansion projects, and cost optimization programs through financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
- Continuously improve financial reporting processes, analytical models, and forecasting methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling and financial analysis.
