At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a
Senior Fire Fighting Technician to lead firefighting system maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities across UAE facilities. This role is suited for an experienced frontline technician who can supervise teams, guide junior technicians, and ensure fire protection systems remain fully operational and compliant.
Role Overview
The Senior Fire Fighting Technician will lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of firefighting systems, provide technical expertise, supervise daily activities, support inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of firefighting systems across assigned facilities.
- Perform advanced fault diagnosis and rectification of fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, deluge systems, foam systems, water mist systems, clean agent systems, and wet / dry risers.
- Supervise firefighting technicians, allocate work assignments, monitor completion, and provide on-the-job guidance.
- Conduct and support weekly fire pump testing, system inspections, preventive maintenance, annual testing, and authority inspections.
- Prepare and review technical reports, inspection records, CAFM updates, and compliance documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire & Safety Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in fire protection system maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or senior technician role.
- Strong exposure to fire pump maintenance and testing activities.
- Ability to interpret fire protection drawings, supervise field work, communicate with clients, and maintain technical documentation.
