Senior Foreman - Tug Fleet

Summary

To support maintenance of Marine fleet & monitor the requirements for conventional

Harbour Tugs in an efficient manner.

Day-to-day operations:

To facilitate a safe work culture on floating crafts.

Champion an inclusive Employee Relation culture and is accountable for the adherence to policies and to ensure a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Inventory control and assist Fleet Engineer in the maintenance and upkeep of all floating crafts.

Coordinate planned maintenance of all floating crafts in consultation with the Fleet Engineer.

Accountable for the usage of man-hours of his team of engineers.

Assist in planning and execution of all repairs and dry dockings of all floating crafts.

Take on duty of Fleet Engineer during his absence.

Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.

Attend any training for any activity required by the department.

Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.

Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets.

Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.

Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Education/Skills/Competencies

Bachelor/Engineering degree/Any Marine Diploma holder.

STCW.3 (Engine) restricted./

Experience in Marine, oil & gas and offshore industry.

Marine mechanic experience.

Port industry experience preferred

Work experience with dual fuel diesel Engine
