About the Role
This is not a traditional Sales Engineering role. You are a builder who sits at the intersection of engineering and revenue—the person who turns a prospect's can it do this into a live, working experience they can touch. You will own the technical narrative across the deal cycle by writing code, not decks: building demo experiences, self-serve product-led-growth (PLG) portals, GenAI/LLM integrations, and computer-use agent applications that showcase what intelligent banking actually feels like. This is a high-visibility, high-agency individual contributor role with direct, measurable impact on revenue.
What You Will Do
- Design and build interactive demo experiences and sandbox environments that prospects can explore without sales friction—product-led, not pitch-led
- Build PLG motion portals and self-serve experiences end-to-end across frontend, backend, and LLM integrations—shipping to real users that drive pipeline
- Build and deploy computer-use agent applications that demonstrate interface.ai's agentic capabilities across real FI workflows (contact center, collections, lending)
- Integrate GenAI / LLM pipelines—RAG, tool-calling, structured outputs, and evals—into customer-facing demos and proof-of-concepts
- Work fluidly across multiple codebases, repos, and the full stack (frontend, backend, infra) to ship features from design to production
- Be the product expert in sales engagements—answer technical and business questions, deliver custom demonstrations, articulate value, and provide technical competitive differentiation
- Partner with Account Executives to tailor experiences to specific FI personas (VP Contact Center, VP Lending, VP Collections) with real data and live flows
- Own technical writing for business-critical RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, and maintain an accurate response library
- Channel prospect and customer feedback back to Product, Marketing, and Leadership to shape the roadmap
- Represent interface.ai at client events and tradeshows, and document client expectations and solutions sold for clean handovers to delivery
What You Will Bring
- 4–10 years of total technical experience, with hands-on full-stack software engineering (frontend, backend, and APIs)
- Demonstrated ability to ship products end-to-end—you build things real users touch, with strong instincts for UX, latency, and the moment a user either gets it or bounces
- Hands-on experience integrating GenAI / LLMs into real applications—RAG, function/tool calling, structured outputs, evals—not just API wrappers
- Strong B2C product experience; consumer-grade sensibility applied to enterprise demos and self-serve experiences
- Comfort working across multiple codebases, repos, and stacks with high autonomy—TypeScript/React and Python preferred
- Familiarity with or strong interest in computer-use / agentic application development
- High agency—you see a gap in the sales motion, build a tool for it, ship it, and tell the team. You don't wait for tickets
- Engineering or computer science background (mandatory)
- Ability to engage in value-driven conversations with CXO-level executives and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing and formal presentation skills
- Experience in a B2B SaaS startup environment; selling to or building for Financial Services is a plus
- Skill with prompt engineering techniques to enhance productivity and decision-making with generative AI tools
