Senior FDE - Enterprise AI
We're supporting one of the fastest-growing global start-ups as they solve complex AI challenges for enterprise customers. With significant funding ($100m+), and growth across various regions, we are continuing to build their exceptional founding team here in Dubai.
You'll sit at the intersection of product, platform, and customer, embedding directly with enterprise clients to design, deploy, and maintain AI agent systems across voice, chat, email, and back-office workflows.
This isn't post-sales support or solutions engineering. You'll be hands-on in production environments, bridging legacy enterprise infrastructure with modern LLM-powered agent architectures.
You'll get meaningful equity alongside a strong base - this team wants builders with real ownership.
What You'll Do:
- Design and deploy multi-step, tool-using AI agents (LLMs + orchestration layers) that operate reliably across customer support, operations, and internal workflows
- Build custom services, pipelines, and connectors integrating AI platforms with CRMs, ticketing systems, telephony, ERPs, data warehouses, and other legacy enterprise systems
- Implement prompt pipelines, tool calling, memory, state management, and guardrails using modern agent frameworks and internal platforms
- Lead deep technical sessions with enterprise engineering teams and senior stakeholders, owning end-to-end system design and deployment decisions
- Own the stability of deployed agents in production - observability, failure modes, human-in-the-loop workflows, incident response, and performance tuning
- Feed hard deployment learnings back into core product: reusable patterns, reference architectures, integration frameworks, and platform improvements
What You Bring:
- 5+ years building and operating production backend or distributed systems, ideally in enterprise or AI-heavy environments
- Strong hands-on experience with LLM-based systems: agents, tool use, orchestration, prompt pipelines, and real-world failure handling
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Go, with strong system design instincts and comfort making architectural trade-offs
- Experience integrating systems via APIs, webhooks, message queues, auth (OAuth, SSO, IAM), and working across both modern and legacy stacks
- Exposure to multi-channel AI systems (voice, chat, email, back-office automation) and the constraints of each
- Comfortable being client-facing, embedded, and autonomous - you can take a vague problem and turn it into a production-ready AI deployment
- Strong communication skills: able to translate agent capabilities, risks, and limitations to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
