ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will build AI-powered applications on Microsoft Azure, combining modern full stack engineering with agentic AI. You'll own features end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape intelligent user experiences using LLMs, multi-agent architectures, and cloud-native technologies while contributing to engineering best practices.
Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring office attendance at least twice a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deliver production-ready AI-powered applications, owning features across the full stack from user interface to cloud services
- Build responsive front-end experiences using React, Angular, or Next.js with TypeScript, including conversational interfaces and real-time interactions
- Develop scalable back-end services and APIs using C#/.NET and/or Python to enable communication between AI agents, business systems, and users
- Implement agentic workflows using Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, Azure AI Agent Service, or similar frameworks, integrating Azure OpenAI and RAG capabilities
- Architect and optimize cloud-native solutions using Azure services, including Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Container Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure AI Search, Service Bus, and Event Grid
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data specialists to translate business goals into intuitive AI-driven experiences while ensuring security, scalability, and observability
- Establish engineering best practices by contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring teammates, and improving CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing, and deployment processes
- Promote responsible AI development by implementing evaluation frameworks, guardrails, monitoring, and secure authentication practices across the solution.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, including at least 3 years working with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong expertise in modern front-end development using React, Angular, or Next.js with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and state management libraries.
- Solid experience developing scalable back-end services with C#/.NET and/or Python, including REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience building AI applications using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry (AI Studio), Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, or similar agent frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Container Apps, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, and EntraID
- Practical experience implementing RAG architectures, embeddings, prompt orchestration, tool/function calling, and streaming AI responses
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
