Your Mission

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python Focused), you'll take ownership of designing and building scalable backend services, while also contributing to a modern React frontend.

This role is Python-first. If your strongest experience is not in Python, this role won't be the right fit.

What You'll Do

Backend (Core Responsibility)

• Design, build, and scale production-grade backend services in Python
• Build clean APIs (REST) with strong validation, error handling, and testing
• Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability across services
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices

Frontend (Supporting Responsibility)

• Build and maintain modern UI features using React
• Collaborate closely with product/design to deliver great UX

Data & Performance

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries
• Apply indexing strategies and performance tuning best practices

Cloud & Deployment

• Deploy, monitor, and scale services using Azure
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized workflows (Docker)

What We're Looking For (Must-Have)

5+ years of professional Python experience (required)

Strong experience building APIs and backend systems in production

2+ years of React experience

Strong PostgreSQL skills (schema design + query optimization)

Hands-on experience with Azure services (deployment + monitoring)

Experience with Docker, CI/CD, DevOps practices

Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance

Clear communicator, proactive mindset, ownership mentality

Bonus Points

• Experience with real-time dashboards, analytics, or data visualization
• Interest in football / sports science / fitness tech
• Experience with microservices, async processing, event-driven systems
