Role Description As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET & React/Next.js), you will design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications that power Ossus.ai's AI‑driven security and compliance platforms. You will build robust backend services and APIs using .NET, integrate them with secure data sources, and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. On the frontend, you will create intuitive user interfaces with React and Next.js, implement responsive layouts, and collaborate with design and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, improve development practices, and mentor other engineers. This is a full‑time, hybrid role based in New Cairo, with a mix of on‑site collaboration and some flexibility for working from home.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Back-End Web Development with .NET, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
• Hands-on experience in Front-End Development using React and Next.js, with solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Proven track record in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, delivering production-grade web applications end to end.
• Experience designing scalable architectures, optimizing performance, and implementing secure coding practices.
• Comfort working in hybrid environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and owning features from concept to deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud or on-premise infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, or risk domains is a plus, as is experience with AI/ML-driven products.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, and TypeScript

Build and maintain secure, high-performance REST APIs and backend services

Develop responsive and maintainable frontend applications using React and, preferably, Next.js

Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, indexes, and data models

Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions

Apply software engineering best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture

Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across frontend, backend, database, and production environments

Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability

Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other engineering team members to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions

Participate in technical estimation, sprint planning, and feature delivery

Contribute to application deployments, release processes, and continuous improvement of the development lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core / .NET
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs / Web APIs
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Strong experience with React.js
• Good proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with SQL Server, relational database design, and query optimization
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure development practices
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver high-quality solutions
