Job Purpose

Interest Rate Derivatives Trading & P&L Management:

• Contribute to the trading desk P&L, through proprietary trading of interest rate derivatives.
• Manage open risk exposure across G10 interest rate derivatives within approved trading and risk limits.
• Monitor daily mark-to-market valuation of open positions.

FX Liquidity & Funding Management Support

• Support in management of the bank's liquidity position, ensuring adequate funding and optimal utilization.
• Support Money Market desk in FX swap positions with local and international banks,
• Support in monitoring month-end open FX positions, weekly funding requirements, and overall treasury liquidity.

Market Intelligence

• Ongoing review of market developments across G10 economies.
• Provide insight on key risks and opportunities arising from market developments.

Treasury Sales, ALM Support

• Provide derivatives pricing and execution support for Treasury Sales, enabling higher client turnover and revenue growth.
• Support ALM by executing FX swaps to optimize liquidity positioning in USD.
• Ensure compliance with real-time and high-value payment requirements, supporting smooth settlement and cash flow operations.

Trading Systems, Controls & Process Improvement

• Support system upgrades, controls, and process enhancements, including testing and whitelabelling solutions to deliver competitive client pricing and enable market-making in selected currencies.
• Act as a key user for the Kondor treasury system, overseeing position monitoring, MTM valuation, and trade/balance reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve system and reporting gaps arising from upgrades, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Contribute to treasury system enhancement initiatives, including upgrade planning, testing, and release management.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics / Statistics

Required Experience

Minimum 10 years in FX Trading

Minimum 5 years in Treasury
