Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Oversee all aspects of direct and indirect taxation (including corporation tax and VAT) for all group entities.

Produce timely and insightful financial reports for leadership, offering performance analysis and recommendations.

Build and maintain cost models for new income streams, analyzing profitability and assisting in negotiations.

Manage the reconciliation of loans and resolve legacy balance sheet issues to ensure financial integrity.

Conduct periodic audit checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

Support the Finance Director with cash flow forecasting, payment runs, and ad hoc financial projects.

Automate financial reports and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Manage legal and equity-related finance matters, including EIS, EMI share options, and related HMRC filings.

Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable function invoice processing, expense audits, payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers), and vendor reconciliations.

Ensure invoices are accurately coded, approved, and processed in accordance with company policy and deadlines.

Oversee daily/weekly payment cycles to ensure timely execution and optimal cash flow management.

Serve as the escalation point for complex vendor inquiries and payment disputes, maintaining strong, positive vendor relationships.

Collaborate with Procurement, HR, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate purchase order approvals.

Prepare and review AP-related financial reports, including aging analyses, KPIs, and cash flow projections.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and provide audit support for AP-related reviews.

Process Improvement & Strategic Development

Continuously identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvement within finance and AP functions.

Introduce and maintain best practices in accounting, payments, and vendor management.

Support digital transformation initiatives to enhance transparency, accuracy, and reporting efficiency across the finance department.

Assist in the development and enforcement of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Stakeholder & Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Act as the first point of contact for junior accounting staff, providing guidance and technical support.

Support HR with PAYE and payroll-related issues.

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on finance and compliance matters.

Partner with leadership teams to align financial processes with strategic business goals.

Working Conditions:

Working Hours: 11:00AM to 7:00PM

Working Days: Monday to Friday ( Saturday & Sunday off )

Work Location: Elmerghany, Heliopolis
