Senior Geology Manager
Job Purpose
Lead the technical evaluation of upstream oil & gas opportunities and provide geological expertise for investment decisions, asset evaluations, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate exploration, appraisal, development, and producing oil & gas assets.
- Conduct technical screening and due diligence for acquisitions, farm-ins, and investment opportunities.
- Assess geological prospectivity, resource potential, risks, and uncertainties.
- Integrate geological, geophysical, reservoir, and production data to support asset evaluations.
- Perform resource estimation, risk assessment, and opportunity ranking.
- Provide geological input for field development planning, well placement, and reservoir management.
- Support preparation of technical recommendations for management and investment committees.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
- Experience across exploration, appraisal, development, and producing assets.
- Strong knowledge of geological evaluation, resource assessment, and subsurface integration.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering.
- Experience in asset evaluation, new ventures, or technical due diligence is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
