Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team! In this role you w ill plan and design structures and facilities such as bridges, railroads, roads, airports, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, tunnels, power plants and other projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design of geotechnical and geophysical site investigation
Design of ground improvement and geotechnical hazards mitigation analysis.
Production of geotechnical interpretative reports
Production of geotechnical specifications.
Evaluate and interpret geotechnical data using 2D and 3D geotechnical modelling software.
Assist in procurement of site investigation contractors.
Supervise geotechnical and geophysical site investigation activities.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
Minimum 8 years experience in g eotechnical design of infrastructure projects including bridges, railroads, roads, airports, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines and tunnels etc.
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required (PLAXIS, LPILE, GEO STUDIO, GEO 5 and Settle 3D, etc.).
