Senior German Accounts Payable Accountant

What You'll Do

• Oversee GL accounts and ensure proper account usage in collaboration with the Financial Controller
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations independently
• Ensure accurate fixed asset registration and maintain records in the LN database
• Calculate and reconcile VAT and monitor timely tax filings
• Support and actively contribute to month-end closing activities
• Review standard memo postings with the Financial Controller
• Prepare and review cash reconciliations
• Assist with CBS reporting
• Act as a back-up for team members when needed
• Support and guide junior team members when required
• Handle daily ad-hoc financial tasks

What We're Looking For

• German level B2 (mandatory)
• Level 2 profile (24 years of experience in Finance / Accounting)
• Strong knowledge of GL, fixed assets, VAT, and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured manner
