Overall Purpose of the Role
The Senior Hookup Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective material management throughout offshore hookup and commissioning (HUC) activities. The role focuses on material tracking, inventory control, logistics coordination, reporting, and readiness support to ensure materials are available when required for project execution.
Key Responsibilitie
sMaterial Planning & Contro
- lEnsure consistent application of Materials Management procedures both onshore and offshore
- .Support development and implementation of project material management processes and procedures
- .Identify gaps or deficiencies in material management systems and report them to management
- .Monitor material availability and identify shortages
- .Notify discipline engineers of material shortages and potential impacts
.Material Coordination & Logistic
- sWork closely with hookup engineers and warehouse personnel to determine material requirements
- .Track overdue materials and expedite deliveries
- .Prepare issue notes and arrange transportation of materials to hookup holding areas
- .Prepare load-out lists and supporting documentation for customs clearance before offshore mobilization
.Reporting & Material Trackin
- gGenerate material status reports
- .Monitor receipt, tracking, and status of offshore materials
- .Track Additional Material Requests (AMRs) and expedite required deliveries
- .Maintain accurate offshore material inventories
.Inventory & Store Managemen
- tIssue materials from offshore stores
- .Reconcile all materials, consumables, tools, and equipment following offshore activities
- .Prepare reconciliation and final inventory reports upon hookup completion
- .Prepare Return to Shore (RTS) documentation for materials sent back onshore
- .Ensure all required return documentation and handover records are completed
.Cargo & Personnel Managemen
- tApprove cargo manifests and truck material movement documentation
- .Review and sign timesheets for material coordinators and yard personnel
- .Lead and supervise project material coordination teams

Required Experience & Competenci

- e.Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar materials coordination rol
- e.At least 3 years working on Aramco/KSA projects in the Middle East related to Hookup & Commissioning (HUC
