Senior HR Manager, APAC (AI, Tech Industry)

About our client

Our client is a publicly listed international technology company with operations spanning APAC and the US, looking for a hands-on HR Manager to own the full HR function across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Greater China.

What You'll Own

• Full HR ownership for Singapore — employee lifecycle, statutory compliance (CPF, IRAS, work passes), and setting up in-house payroll
• RSU administration — tracking vesting schedules, coordinating with US corporate on new grants, and handling related tax reporting
• Coordination and oversight of an external HR outsourcing partner managing Hong Kong operations
• Contractor arrangements across mainland China — managing classification risk, tax/social insurance exposure, and coordinating FESCO/labour dispatch/EOR arrangements as needed
• Building out policies, handbooks, and scalable HR infrastructure as the team grows

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of HR generalist/HRBP experience in Singapore with genuine ownership (not just support) of compliance, payroll, and employee lifecycle
• Background in fast-paced tech, startups, or US-listed companies are preferred
• Current, hands-on knowledge of Singapore's Employment Act, CPF, IRAS filings, and the EP/S Pass COMPASS framework
• Direct experience with PRC contractor/employment arrangements (with real case example preferred)
• High agency and comfort being theonly HR person in the room

Nice to Have

• Experience at a NASDAQ/NYSE-listed company or in cross-border US-China business
• Exposure to AI, semiconductor, cloud, or data center industries
• Comfort with AI tools or no-code automation platforms
