Role Overview: An established UAE-based organization is seeking an experienced
Senior HR Officer to manage end-to-end HR operations across multiple entities with a workforce of
500+ employees including office and site-based staff.
The role involves managing the
entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, leave administration, payroll coordination, employee relations, HR compliance, and HRMS administration.

The company supports large-scale operations across oil & gas, industrial maintenance, and engineering services, managing a diverse workforce across multiple operational sites. It is recognized for strong operational standards and long-term partnerships with leading regional energy operators and government entities on critical industrial projects across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
- Coordinate with department managers to understand staffing requirements.
- Conduct employee onboarding and ensure completion of all joining documentation.
- Track probation periods and manage employee confirmations.
Attendance & Leave Management
- Manage biometric attendance systems and review daily attendance reports.
- Investigate attendance discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Process employee leave applications and maintain leave balances.
- Prepare verified monthly attendance data for payroll processing.
Payroll Coordination
- Prepare payroll inputs including attendance records, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
- Coordinate with Finance for timely payroll processing.
- Calculate end-of-service benefits in line with UAE labour law.
- Address employee payroll and salary-related queries.
Employee Relations & HR Administration
- Act as the primary HR contact for employee queries and grievances.
- Maintain accurate personnel records including contracts, visas, Emirates IDs, and employee documentation.
- Support disciplinary procedures and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of HR records.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR operations comply with UAE Labour Law and MOHRE regulations.
- Support maintenance and updates of the employee handbook.
- Stay updated on labour law changes and regulatory requirements.
HRMS & Systems
- Maintain HR data and employee records using HRMS platforms.
- Support implementation and configuration of HR systems.
- Ensure data accuracy across HR databases.
- Generate HR reports such as headcount, attendance, leave utilization, and recruitment metrics.
Emiratization Support
- Maintain compliance with Emiratization requirements.
- Support NAFIS tracking and related documentation.
- Coordinate with Finance on pension fund compliance for Emirati employees

Experience & Qualifications
- 6-7+ years of HR experience with UAE exposure.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, WPS, and gratuity calculations.
- Experience managing HR operations for large workforce environments (office & site staff).
- Hands-on experience with HRMS systems such as SAP HR, BambooHR, ZenHR, Bayzat or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- High attention to detail for payroll and compliance processes.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee matters professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Languages
- English - Fluent (Required)
- Hindi / Urdu - Conversational (Required)
- Arabic - Conversational (Preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in oil & gas, industrial services, or manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with ADNOC compliance requirements or Fieldglass systems.
- HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM.
- Experience supporting Emiratization initiatives
