Job Description
- Program delivery & governance
- Drive multiple concurrent People programs end-to-end, scoping, planning, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, budget, risk management, and delivery against agreed timelines and outcomes.
- Partner with the Head of People Operations and senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into structured program plans with clear owners, decision gates, and success measures.
- Establish and run program governance, steering forums, status reporting, executive updates, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and escalation paths.
- Proactively identify risks, blockers, and interdependencies across programs, and drive them to resolution before they affect delivery.
Cross-functional & stakeholder leadership
- Lead cross-functional coordination across People Operations, Centres of Excellence, People Business Partners, People Technology, Finance, Legal, and external vendors and partners.
- Manage stakeholder expectations across markets and time zones, keeping alignment tight as scope and priorities evolve.
- Own program communications and change management for impacted teams to ensure smooth adoption and minimal operational disruption.
M&A, integration & transformation
- Support M&A and post-merger integration workstreams on the People side, planning people-related integration, harmonising policies, processes, and systems, and managing transition timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Design and drive process-improvement and operating-model changes that increase the efficiency, quality, and scalability of people services.
Knowledge management & operational excellence
- Build and maintain a central knowledge base for the People Operations, process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, decision logs, and playbooks, so institutional knowledge is captured, current, and easy to find.
- Establish standards and governance for knowledge management: naming conventions, ownership, review cadences, versioning, and access controls, so documentation stays trustworthy and doesn't go stale.
- Capture lessons learned and reusable frameworks from each program, turning one-off problem-solving into repeatable playbooks that reduce ramp-up time and de-risk future initiatives.
- Drive knowledge transfer and enablement across the People Operations and partner teams, onboarding materials, self-service resources, and training, to reduce single points of failure and dependency on individuals.
- Partner with HR Technology to make knowledge discoverable within the tools the team already uses (e.g. HRIS, service-management, and collaboration platforms).
Measurement & reporting
- Track and report on program outcomes, cost efficiencies, service-level impact, and adoption to People and business leadership, using data to inform decisions and course-correct.
