Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior HSE and First Aid Trainer who will not only deliver and develop exceptional training programs but also contribute as a subject matter expert (SME) and actively support business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, in-depth technical expertise, and client engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-impact training programs tailored to client-specific HSE and first aid requirements.
  • Act as an SME by advising clients on compliance, risk management, and safety protocols across various sectors.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions in line with regulatory and international standards.
  • Customize training content (PPTs, manuals, case studies) based on industry, location, and client feedback.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify client training needs and propose solutions.
  • Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, drills, and practical exercises.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients and provide consultancy on safety improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of training sessions, certification records, and client feedback.
  • Contribute to tenders, technical proposals, and course development aligned with market demand.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

Bachelor&aposs Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Medical/Paramedical field (Masters preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 710 years of experience in delivering HSE, First Aid, Fire Safety, and Specialized Safety Training.
  • Strong industry exposure in construction, oil & gas, logistics, hospitality, and manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in curriculum development, training center operations, and business development support.

Professional Certifications (Minimum Required)

  • Highfield Qualifications Level 3 or above First Aid, CPR, AED, Health & Safety. (Ideally Approved TTT)
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. (Preference will be given to NEBOSH level 6 and CM IOSH)
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification General Industry or Construction.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Medic First Aid Instructor Certification.
  • Saudi Heart Association (SHA) CPR/First AEd Instructor Certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) American Heart Association (preferred).
  • HABC Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
  • Train the Trainer Certification with emphasis on adult learning methods.
  • Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Certification.
  • Scaffolding Safety, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) expertise preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of HSE regulations (GCC + international).
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Zoom/MS Teams, and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to influence, guide, and consult B2B clients on training strategy and compliance.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify upsell opportunities and contribute to business growth.
