Responsibilities:
- Prepare HVAC design drawings complete with Technical Reports and Engineering Calculations using all relevant software.
- Prepare the design works for the project in accordance with international standards and local codes/regulations.
- Ensure effective coordination with other disciplines such as Architectural, Electrical and Structural Engineering.
- Using Autodesk software (Revit & AutoCAD).
- Prepare Cooling load calculations.
- Prepare Pressurization and Smoke Management systems calculations.
- Design and size ducting and piping systems.
- Familiar with ASHRAE and SMACNA standards.
- Perform selection of HVAC equipment and size the mechanical rooms.
- Prepare Data Sheets, Systems Comparison Reports, and Bill of Quantities.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- BSc. in Mechanical Power Engineering.
- 12 - 15 years of experience in the Design Field.
- Revit is a must.
