Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Technology Specialist to oversee and support our organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and security. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining system stability, resolving complex technical issues, implementing IT solutions, and supporting business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud services.
Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement and enforce IT security policies, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Plan, test, and deploy system upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
Document IT processes, configurations, and technical procedures.
Support IT projects, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or technical support.
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
Experience with cybersecurity practices, backup solutions, and system monitoring tools.
Relevant certifications (such as Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, or VMware) are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint management
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools
