Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect / Principal Technical Lead to govern and oversee end-to-end technical execution across complex, multi-domain enterprise environments. This role requires strong ownership of architecture governance, technical decision-making, risk management, and cross-platform coordination to ensure successful project delivery aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across cloud, infrastructure, security, collaboration, DR/backup, and monitoring domains, while ensuring quality, compliance, and seamless handover.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Governance & Leadership
- Govern end-to-end technical project execution across multiple domains.
- Provide technical leadership and act as the final authority for architecture and design decisions.
- Review, validate, and approve architecture designs, low-level designs (LLDs), and implementations.
- Ensure strict alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and best practices.
Architecture & Standards
- Own and maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical standards.
- Ensure consistency and integration across cloud, on-prem, security, and collaboration platforms.
- Drive architectural alignment across cross-functional and multi-vendor teams.
Risk, Quality & Delivery
- Identify, assess, and manage technical risks, dependencies, and quality controls.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, security, and performance across all platforms.
- Oversee technical validation, acceptance, and final sign-off before project closure.
Project Closure & Handover
- Ensure complete technical handover, documentation, and operational readiness.
- Deliver final technical closure reports, including lessons learned and compliance confirmation.
- Provide post-implementation support and guidance where required.
Technology & Domain Coverage (Must Have)
The candidate must demonstrate end-to-end visibility and hands-on governance experience across:
- Cloud Platforms: Azure, OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), GCP
- Virtualization & HCI: VMware, Nutanix
- Security: Fortinet (Firewalls, Security Architecture)
- Collaboration & Productivity: Microsoft 365
- Business Continuity: DR, Backup & Recovery Solutions
- Monitoring & Observability Tools
- Enterprise Architecture: Diagrams, SOPs, frameworks, and standards
Mandatory Deliverables Experience
- Approval of architecture and design documents
- Documented technical reviews and approval records
- Project risk and dependency assessments
- Final technical handover and project closure reports
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, infrastructure, or enterprise IT leadership
- Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-technology projects
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-domain coordination skills
- Excellent documentation, governance, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work in complex enterprise and multi-vendor environments
