Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer (Wet Utilities)

Job Location: 5th Settlement, New Cairo
Reporting Line: Infrastructure & Utilities Senior Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and review of wet utilities systems including potable water, firefighting, stormwater, irrigation, and sewage networks.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and prepare technical reports using tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and Civil 3D.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (roads, electrical, architecture) to ensure integrated design delivery.
- Apply value engineering to optimize designs and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site visits, technical assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (consultants, contractors, and authorities) to resolve technical issues.
- Support infrastructure planning by preparing preliminary studies and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.
- Review construction activities and provide technical support during project execution.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in infrastructure design (wet utilities focus).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Proficiency in English (Excellent).
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and design programs like AutoCAD.
