Job Purpose:
Responsible for the planning, design, and coordination of all infrastructure elements. This includes roads, drainage, utilities, and airport support systems. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with international standards, local regulations, and project requirements, while supporting construction and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and review of airport infrastructure systems, including roads, pavements, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and external works.
- Ensure designs comply with international standards, local regulations, airport codes, and sustainability requirements.
- Coordinate infrastructure designs with architectural, structural, MEP, and other project teams for seamless integration.
- Conduct design reviews, value engineering exercises, and quality assurance checks at all project stages.
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Attend stakeholder meetings, workshops, and client presentations to communicate infrastructure design intent.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, and report any risks or issues to senior management.
- Provide construction support, including clarifications, site instructions, and review of contractor submissions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Infrastructure Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with proven experience on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.
- Strong knowledge of airport infrastructure design, external works, utilities, and drainage systems.
- Proven experience with mega airport projects, aviation facilities, or large transport hubs is highly preferred.
- Excellent understanding of international codes, local regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, BIM, hydraulic modeling software).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
