On behalf of this global organization, we are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Specialist to play a key role in building, managing, and scaling enterprise IT infrastructure in Cairo. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity offering high visibility and long-term growth within an international environment.
Role Overview
As a Senior Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-availability IT infrastructure. You will support the launch of the new Egypt branch while ensuring alignment with global infrastructure standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise infrastructure systems (servers, networks, storage)
- Lead infrastructure setup for the new Egypt branch in alignment with global IT policies
- Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and security
- Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
- Coordinate with international IT teams and external vendors
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior infrastructure, systems, or network role
- Strong knowledge of servers, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure models
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment
