We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Integration Architect & Manager with 15+ years of experience leading and delivering large-scale enterprise integration programs. This role combines hands-on architectural leadership with strategic management, overseeing complex integration ecosystems while managing large, cross-functional teams and partnering closely with executive stakeholders.
You will be responsible for defining integration strategy, driving architectural excellence, ensuring delivery quality, and aligning integration initiatives with business objectives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale enterprise integration solutions.
- Define and govern enterprise integration architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Manage and mentor large integration teams.
- Oversee integrations using technologies such as:
- IBM App Connect Enterprise
- IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
- IBM API Connect
- Apache Kafka
- Design and implement API-led, event-driven, and microservices integrations.
- Provide executive-level consultation, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, and IT leadership to align integration initiatives with strategic goals.
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and resilience of integration platforms.
- Lead governance, release management, risk mitigation, and dependency management across multiple programs.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and architectural improvements.
- Support modernization initiatives, including legacy system integration and cloud/hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware technologies.
- Proven experience leading large-scale integration programs in complex enterprise environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with:
- IBM App Connect Enterprise
- IBM IIB
- IBM API Connect
- Apache Kafka
- Microservices development and integration patterns
- Strong background in integration architecture, including API-led, SOA, and event-driven architectures.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership.
- Experience with system performance tuning, high availability, and security best practices.
