Senior Integration Engineer (webMethods)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and support APIs, services, and integration workflows across internal and external systems using Software AG webMethods.

• Develop synchronous and asynchronous integrations utilizing APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

• Configure and manage webMethods components including Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging.

• Design reusable integration services, frameworks, and shared components following enterprise standards.

• Participate in API lifecycle management including design, development, versioning, security, and documentation.

• Implement integration patterns, error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Software AG webMethods Integration Suite.

• Experience with Integration Server development and flow services.

• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, and JSON specifications.

• Knowledge of API management concepts and API Gateway administration.

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture.

• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of authentication and security standards including OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, and mutual TLS.

• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of integration development experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with webMethods.

• Experience working in banking, financial services, government, or large enterprise environments is preferred.

• Software AG/webMethods certifications are an advantage.
